In the year 2010 National AIDS Control Organization provided six numbers of Blood Transportation Van to Assam State AIDS Control Society.
The Blood Transportation Van using for the transportation of Blood from the outdoor voluntary blood donation camp to blood bank and from mother blood banks to blood storage center.
In the blood transportation van there are four numbers of blood storage refrigerators and 50 numbers units of blood can storage in each refrigerator. Total 200 numbers of blood units can carry in a one time.

National AIDS Control Organization provided one driver and one attended for each blood transportation van through Assam State AIDS Control Society.
N.B: Assam State AIDS Control Society is regularly providing financial support to the respective blood banks to maintenance of BTV & POL as recurring cost.
