Consumables and Other Technical Support to NACO Supported Blood Banks

  • During NACP-3, NACO was supplying critical equipments and necessary kits, consumable for NACO supported blood banks.

    But NACP-4, NACO is only restrain with technical man power support along with few screening kits.

    At present NACO supplies Eliza, Rapid (HIV, HBV, HCB, VDRL) to AIDS control society and the Assam State AIDS Control Society; distribute the same to the NACO supported blood banks.

    Reagent and consumables are supported by Govt of Assam in the financial year 2017-18, Assam Govt has sanction Rs. 98.00 Lacs for the (kits, blood bag, reagent, equipment management and other support to the NACO supported blood banks.)in the state budget.
